Online Entries are now open on the VCM website for 2015 VCM Round 6 (FINAL ROUND) at Boags Property in Stony Ck (near Leongatha) on November 8th.  To enter just go to the Calendar page and click on the “ENTER” link next to Round 6.

PRE 85-ALL POWERS feature class has been added to VCM Round 6 at Boags this year.  This feature class will get 4 races in the program and the races will be scored with 1st-2nd-3rd medallions awarded (for Round 6 only, it will not be scored in the 2015 VCM series).

Anyone (16yrs and up) with a Pre-85 or Older MX bike is welcome to ride at VCM Round 6 so pass the word around.  You don’t have to register with VCM for 2015 to ride at Round 6 only and if you don’t have a National Racing Licence or Club Membership to one of the Invited Clubs, then you can purchase a 1-day Racing Licence for $60 &/or a 1-day Club Membership for $10 when you enter Online or with the Paper entry form.

Online entries for Round 6 will close at midnight on Wednesday the 4th November.  Please remember that Pee Wee riders will not be catered for at Round 6.

The date and venue for this years Presentation Night have been set, it’s at 7:30pm on Wednesday the 18th of November at Silvan Public Hall at 271 Monbulk Road, Silvan.  VCM register members free, everyone else $10. You are welcome to bring along anything you want to share i.e. race bikes, garage queens, the partially complete, memorabilia the unique and the obscure. Online Entries and Map & Instructions for Round 3 at Yarram are up on the Calendar page of the VCM website, just go there and click on the links next to Round 3 at Yarram.

Online Entries are closing soon on Wednesday 12th, so get in soon and pre-enter online.

VCM have announced that Pee Wees will be able to ride on a separate track at two VCM rounds this year, Yarram (Rnd3) and Pakenham (Rnd 4).  The host clubs, Yarram MCC and Koo Wee Rup MCC have generously offered to open the Pee Wee tracks at these two rounds for us.  The entry fee for Pee Wee riders is just $10 and kids need to be members of an affiliated club and hold a mini licence -OR- you can purchase a 1 day membership ($15) and 1 day mini licence ($25) on the day from the host club.  Pee Wee riders must be supervised by parent or relative at all times while riding. If you plan to bring kids along to ride you need to notify Matt in advance by email at vcm@exemail.com.au.  If you have any questions about Pee Wee riders at VCM rounds call Matt on 0419 878 359.

VCM have announced that Pre-85 Class is being added to Round 6 at Boags as a feature class.  This is a one off thing for Round 6 only, there’s no plan to add Pre-85 class to next years VCM series.  If you can access a Pre-85 bike then you’d better start preparing it for Round 6.  Please spread the word out about the Pre-85 feature class at this year’s VCM Round 6, it’s open to anyone who wants to come along.

The weather forecast for Yanakie on 26th June is for heavy rain and strong winds.

AS A RESULT VCM ROUND 2 AT YANAKIE THIS SUNDAY HAS BEEN POSTPONED FOR 1 WEEK TO SUNDAY AUGUST 2ND.

The VCM Committee would like to thank Corner Inlet MCC for the great support to they have shown the series by postponing Round 2 due to poor weather and finding another suitable date in their club’s busy calendar. It is not easy to postpone an event staffed by volunteers and then re-organise the whole thing on a new date for us.

The new date for Round 2 is two weeks before Round 3 at Yanakie.  All entries already received for Round 2 will automatically transfer to the new date (August 2nd).

IF YOU WANT TO WITHDRAW FROM THE EVENT FOR ANY REASON YOU MUST SEND NOTIFICATION BY EMAIL TO vcm@exemail.com BY WEDNESDAY 29th JUNE AND YOU WILL AUTOMATICALLY RECEIVE A FULL REFUND FROM VCM.

Please Note that there will be NO Junior or Pee Wee classes for kids to ride at this round as there aren’t facilities for it at Yanakie MX Track.  Junior &/or Pee Wee classes are being investigated for the other rounds in the 2015 series so stay tuned.
