A Map and Instructions for 2015 Round 1 is now available to from the Calendar page, just click on the “MAP AND INSTRUCTIONS” link next to Round 1.  Once downloaded the .pdf file and can viewed on the screen and/or printed on A4 paper.

Online entries for 2015 VCM Inter-club Series Round 1 on June 14th at Sale are now open.  To enter just click on the link next to Round 1 on the Calendar page.

The VCM Committee would like to thank everyone who replied to our request for feedback about catering for Junior riders at VCM rounds.  The feedback was all positive and the VCM Committee are working on the proposal for this year’s series, stay tuned more information.

Round 1 of the 2015 VCM Series will no longer be on April 26th.  Round 1 will now be on June 14th at Krusic’s Ride Park in Sale hosted by East Malvern MCC.  Note that the Round 1 races will be held on a separate specially prepared “vintage friendly” racetrack at Krusic’s, not on one of the 4 regular tracks at the park.

Also, on April 26th the VCM have now organised a recreational ride day at Krusic’s ride park where the VCM riders will have exclusive access to the “vintage friendly” racetrack, as well as access to the 4 other tracks at the park.  Bring along any bikes that you like, all are welcome including Juniors.  More details are available on the Calendar page.

The 2015 VCM Inter-club Series is shaping up to be great one.  Most of the dates and venues have been locked in and are on the Calendar page of the VCM website.

Two Race Dates Announced 2015 VCM Series

Dates and Venues have been announced for Round 3 and Round 6 of the 2015 VCM Inter-club Series.

July 26th, Round 3 at Yanakie
Nov 8th, Round 6 at Stony Creek

The remaining dates for the 6 round 2015 VCM Series will be announced in the coming days an weeks so keep an eye on the Calendar page of the VCM Website.

And while your there, why don’t you register with VCM for 2015 so that you can race in this years inter-club series and to reserve your race number at the same time.  VCM Registration costs only $30 (same as last year) and it can be done quickly and easily online by clicking on the Register link of the Calendar page of the VCM Website.

The registration fee is still $30 (same as last year).

To secure your VCM race number for 2015 you must register and pay by 15th March 2015.  After that all unpaid numbers are up for grabs.

This year VCM Registration & Payment is done online by clicking on the link on the CALENDAR page on the VCM Website.

2014 VCM Series Results Updated

The results for the 2014 VCM Interclub Series have been updated, the changes are only minor.

To view the results go to the Calendar page and click on the “RESULTS” link next to Round 6 at Stony Creek.

The results for the final round of the 2014 VCM Interclub Series are now available.  Simply  go to the Calendar Page of the VCM website and click on the “Results” link next to Round 6 – Stonk Creek.

Remember, presentations for the 2014 VCM Series will be made at the Presentation Night on 27th November at Wandin North Public Hall.  More info is available in the Presentation Night news post.

This year’s VCM Series Presentation Night is on November 27th at the Wandin Nth Public Hall, 430  Clegg Rd Wandin Nth (Melways ref 119 C11), next door to CFA Station.  Starts at 7:30pm.  Free Food & Drinks to paid up VCM members and 1 guest (costs $10 per head for additional guests & advance notice req’d).

We will be showing movies and have some bikes on display.  Please feel free to bring along a DVD or a bike for display.

Vintage MX Bikes Stolen from Pakenham

Three bikes stolen were stolen from Pakenham in mid October, to date one has been recovered but the following two bikes are still missing:

’74 Maico 250

’79 Honda RZ250

Please keep an eye out for one of these bikes or parts being sold and pass on any information to Pakenham Police.
